Ōji is a young man of average build with light brown, medium length hair parted in the middle, flipping out at the ends. He has blue eyes with most often visible eyelashes.
Ōji is a perceptive and scheming individual. He also has a habit of giving others weird nicknames. He acts in a princely manner, appearing to be a purposeful reference to his surname, as he was the one to request Kittaka to make the icons he uses in his explanations, which depict him as a handsome guy with a prince's crown.
Ōji and Kurauchi were teammates both in Yuba unit as well as currently in Ōji unit. This implies that they have a strong friendship and are quite accustomed to fighting together. Kurauchi visibly respects Ōji's leadership and plans.
Ōji appears to have faith in his younger teammate's abilities. After Osamu takes Kashio out, Ōji appears to avenge him by taking out Osamu very viciously, although that might simply be Ōji's nature.
Ōji and Kittaka have a good team relationship and are likely friends, as he has no reservations about asking Kittaka to draw strange icons to represent Ōji Unit members and their opponents.
Ōji's former captain. Despite being no longer in the unit, he is still on good terms with him.
Ōji's former teammate. They appear to be friends, as Ōji attends Kanda's farewell dinner and brings him flowers. He appears to hold Kanda's abilities as a fighter in high regards, as he admits to wishing he had surpassed Yuba Unit when Kanda was still a member.
Ōji is quite familiar with Ikoma and his fighting style, easily predicting his actions in Tamakoma Second vs. Ōji Unit vs. Ikoma Unit. As Kurauchi mentioned, Ōji unit has fought Ikoma Unit many times. Before the away exam, Ōji listed Ikoma as someone he would like to work with, reason being he finds the other attacker interesting.
Ōji and Kitazoe are classmates at First Mikado City High School in class 3-B.
Ōji and Kagami are classmates at First Mikado City High School in class 3-B.
Before the away exam, Ōji lists Kako as someone he would like to work with due to finding her interesting.
Before the away exam, Ōji lists Saeki as someone he would like to work with due to finding him interesting.
Ōji has nicknamed each member of Katori Unit with foreign-sounding names.
Ōji seems to regard Osamu as a considerable threat, since his strategy in the rank war Tamakoma Second vs. Ōji Unit vs. Ikoma Unit was to target the shooter as a top priority. During the rank war when they come face to face, Ōji intimidates him and takes him out mercilessly, commenting on Osamu's actions and reminding him rather harshly that he has a long way to go before he can be considered strong. Later, he comments that Osamu's lack of experience as a shooter is his downfall in Round 8, but spends a lot of his commentary almost rooting for him, and claiming to understand his strategies. The two have been compared before as both thinking before acting.
