  • Hey Martial.

I just wanted to thank you for all the work you put into this wiki. I'm sorry I can't be of much help; not only am I busy, but I have simply lost the interest in the World Trigger I once had (I blame the hiatus). I just want to let you know that you should keep pushing forward. I know it may be tiring when you're the muscle of the wiki, but believe me, I've been there, and it's worth it for anyone who may stumble upon our fine wiki. I hope at some point to rediscover what drove me in those halcyon days and channel that towards the wiki.

    • It is the internet, so I can think about what I write before I actually write it. I only asked because I assume you were once in the situation in which I find myself today. IIRC, you were quite diligently contributing to the HxH wiki even then. How did you manage to find the resolve? As for the Discord, it's not really my thing. However, I'd love to do a voice call with you and some others since we've known each other for some time. No pressure, of course.

    • It is just something I liked to do, though now I am barely active during hiatuses. For me it was also a useful way to learn English. I refused to join Discord for over a year saying it wasn't for me, but you can also use it as a one-to-one chat. In terms of resolve, it might also be useful because you'd be talking World Trigger with other fans. Though, as you said, no pressure.

  • I noticed that when we were discussing banning a troll (in a snarky way) and reverting their vandalism, Yuji brought up the topic of you being an admin or rollback. Well, now the time has come. Do you wish to be either?

    • In Naruto's case, they weren't formally labeled as arcs (unlike One Piece), but you would have titles given to certain segments. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Naruto, but one arc was originally called the "Hidan and Kakuzu arc" by Narutopedia, only for it to be changed to "Akatsuki Suppression Mission", which is what the databook called it. I've seen similar things for World Trigger here.

    • I am familiar with Naruto, and thank you for the example. Still, I wouldn't say that it's the same with WT, because the site seems to be more focused on events than arcs. I don't think one could classify Yuma being invited into Tamakoma and starting to train with Konami as two separate arcs, or split the current Aftokrator arc into four.

That being said, as already stated I am not opposed to the B-Rank Rank Battles Arc being split in three sections in principle, but I may veto it if no one is willing to work on them and we'll get two more stubs with barely 20 words in them. Even then, however, I'd still help you come up with names.

  • Hi i'm new to world trigger wiki

  • Since you recently made an edit, could I ask for your assistance in this matter:

Hello there, I was just wondering if it is possible to have the quoted text in the Quote template be in the center. For example in Karin Yuitsuka, the quoted text is to the left and it seems that the space between the quotation marks is fixed according to the length of the bottom text, hence the excess space to the right makes it visually unappealing. I don't have much experience in modifying templates, and my attempt to change the text alignment from left to center didn't work. If you could somehow change it so the quotation marks are only as wide as the quoted text and have it positioned at the center, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • Quite a few of the changes you made to the Question Corner are different from what the Japanese said. Can you put a note on top that these are from wherever you got them from so people know they're not the Japanese version? Thanks.

    • The Q&A is the same as the posts I made on my Tumblr if you really want to reverse it. There's no need to rewrite it.

Yeah, Egret and Eaglet are written the same way. If we ever get it written in English at some point (the way A-rank, B-rank was) then we'd know for sure I guess.

    • Thanks! I saw only the recent ones on your tumblr, that's why I said that. I'll do it soon then.

Out of curiosity, do you mind me asking what is your first language? You seem to be extremely fluent in both English and Japanese.

EDIT: Also, why don't you join the World Trigger subreddit? There aren't many people, but a lot  of them are fans of your translations, and since, going by your Tumblr, you seem to enjoy discussion...

    • I'm pretty much done with the edits on Border's Triggers, so, while we wait for Dino to reply on the name thing, I was wondering: How about we make pages for the maps? We have 6 thus far: Cityscape A, B and C, Riverbank, Industiral Area and Exhibit Hall (confirmed names).

        Loading editor
    • I agree. We could make a single page for all of them, though.

    • And anyway, I already got the answers I needed here.

    • I thought I rmeoved the comment because I actually don't have time right now, but hey, at least I have permission now. Sounds good, should we call the page "Maps"?

Good you found what I was looking for. As I told you, I only know where to find Viz's stuff.

Completely unrelated: I just found out that Chippo translated Chelidon and Lampyris as "Horn Triggers" in the databook, whereas the trion receptors are (officially) "Horn Triggers" (but "Trigger Horns" in the original). Turns out that the one time Replica said "Horn Triggers", it could have been referring to Chelidon and Lampyris, and not to the horn themselves. I'll rename the pages -.-
