Yūma mistakes Obishima for a male, and promptly apologizes when called out for it by [[Shun Midorikawa|Midorikawa]]. To atone for his error, he challenges Obishima to a solo battle so she can get an idea of how he fights. After fighting frivolously, Yūma uses a new technique: sending a [[Scorpion]] underground and then linking to a projectile and making it transform. Seeing that Yūma revealed important details, Yuba offers to fight him himself. As soon as the match begins, Yuba quickly whips out guns and shoots Yūma, defeating him. Yuba refuses to display his skills any further, and warns Yūma that he will be at the top of his game in the next match. Yūma and Midorikawa leave. Yuba remarks that Yūma is one to not be approached, while Yūma expresses his increased interest in the next match.
